Ranee "Mouse" Marie Cramer of AuGres passed away on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas City. Ranee was born on June 1, 1958, in Flint to Wallace Oscar and Myrna Bernice (nee Skowerski) Erickson. She was employed by the Tawas City Wal-Mart as a photo technician supervisor. Ranee had many passions in life. She truly loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and gardening. She was skilled in the art of photography and she could capture the beauty of life in many aspects. She spent much of her time with the process of canning her garden's produce for everyone to enjoy. University of Michigan football and NASCAR held a cherished desire in her heart as well. However, above all, the most important value to Ranee was spending quality time with all of her family. She was an active member of the Tawas City Eagles No. 2588 for many years. Ranee is survived by her three loving children, Jack "Spike" (Jennifer) Cramer of Swartz Creek, Crystal "Sidewinder" (James) Hines of Swartz Creek and Amanda "Sweet Pea" Chirich of AuGres; four adored grandchildren, Hunter, Tristan, Dustin and Kadence; her beloved mother, Myrna Erickson of Tawas City; her fiance­, Don Shillair of AuGres; stepchildren, Kimberly and Scott Shillair; brother, Leif (Nancy) Erickson of Birch Run; her children's father, Jack Cramer of Swartz Creek; and her four dogs, Lucky, Cheech, Chong and Baby Girl. She now joins her father, Wally "Papa" Erick­son, in Heaven. Ranee was a beautiful woman who showed true love for all. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and how her beautiful smile would warm up everyone's day and make you feel special. Her warm hugs and tender kisses will be forever cherished. Visitation for Ranee was on Wednesday, Oct. 28, and funeral service was held on Thursday, Oct. 29, at Buresh and Kobs Funeral Home in Tawas City, with the Rev. Fr. Charles Donajowski officiating. Per her wishes, cremation took place after the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the grandchildren's educational trust fund.
