Randall Louis Mitchell passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, February 20, 2019, with his family by his side.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Winnie Faye Mitchell, and his father, James Louis Mitchell. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; his two sons, Brent Mitchell of Fort Walton and Cameron Mitchell of Santa Rosa Beach; as well as his daughter, Courtney Richard of St. Petersburg, Fl, and his younger twin brothers, Ricky and Micky Mitchell of Opp, Al.
Randy was born in Opp, Alabama in 1950. His fascination with the sea led him to join the Merchant Marines and travel the world. Randy was a true Renaissance man with many talents. In his life, he was a musician, a pilot, a scuba diver, a motorcycle enthusiast, a tug boat operator, and engineer who could fix anything.
Randy was people person with the gift of gab who knew no strangers.
Randy was a devout Jehovah's Witness and was passionate about spreading the word of Jehovah to all. In his passing, he eagerly awaits the fulfillment of the promises in Revelation 21.
