Ralph Wendell Edwards, 84, of Greeley, Colo. passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 at his home. Ralph was born on Jan. 16, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Stanley Edward and Myrtle Marie (Johnson) Poplowski.On Oct. 16, 1949, he married Grace Lingnau in Las Vegas. They were members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Las Vegas.Ralph served in the Marine Corp from 1947-1950 and in the Reserves from 1950-1954. Ralph also worked for the fire department in Las Vegas and the New Mexico Mounted Patrol.Ralph is survived by his wife, Grace Edwards; five daughters, Jane, Vicky and Leroy, Judy, Susan and Craig and Tammy and Don; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Fort Logan National Cemetery.Visit www.stoddardsunset.com to sign online guestbook.
