BRANN, Richard H. "Rick" Age 73, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Pompano Beach FL. He was born on May 18, 1943 in Norwood, MA, son of Charles and Betty (Howard) Brann. Rick was a longtime resident of Boston, MA and Pompano Beach FL. He is survived by his spouse Brian Mirabile, daughter Kristen Hoffman and husband Michael, son Richard Brann Jr and wife Jennifer, grandchildren Alexandria, Brianna and Richard III, sisters Jane Barberie and husband David, Carolyn Nye and husband George, brothers Charles, Bill and wife Brenda along with many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends including Lloyd Staples, David Broderick and the love of his life Meredith Williams. Rick attended MA College of Art and in 1978 started Shade Installations with longtime friend Lloyd Staples and continued to work up until his retirement in 2009. Rick had a lifetime passion for art and interior design with some of his work featured in various magazines. Rick had an abundant life, a very kind heart, he adored his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
