Pierrette Plourde, of Plainville passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2016, after a valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the beloved wife and soul mate of her husband Roger for more than 38 years. Pierrette was born on October 20, 1957 in St. Aurelie, Quebec, Canada to the late Cyrille and Antoinette (Gagne) Beaudoin. She was the shining light of her family and will be dearly missed. Besides her love for her husband Roger, her love of children and being outdoors were the delights of her life. Her sweet smile will always remain in our memory. In addition to her loving husband Roger, she is survived by her siblings, Jean Pierre Beaudoin and his wife Gisele, Paul Andre Beaudoin and his wife Louane, Francine Beaulieu and her late husband Giles and Richard Beaudoin and his wife Gloria. She is also survived by her in-laws Joseph and Rose Plourde and sister-in-law Diane Plourde. She also leaves several nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Friends and family may call at the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services for Pierrette will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home and proceed to Our Lady of Mercy Church 94 Broad Street in Plainville for a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Plainville.
