Phillip Chandler was born in Monterey County , CA in June 13th , 1957 to Thelma Chandler and Phillip Chandler.

Phillip started to receive his education in Monterey, Ca where he attended Monte Vista Elementary School . In 1967 his family relocated to Compton, Ca where he continued his education at Davis Middle School and Compton High School where he graduated with honors in 1974.

After graduating high school he immediately joined the US Army. He met Sara Collins and in that union 3 children were born . He relocated to Little Rock, Ar in 1983 where he met the love of his life , his wife , Debra Osa-Chandler and in that union his one and only beautiful daughter was born. Phillip was the rock and protector of his family. He loved fishing and spending time with his family , especially his 3 grandchildren. His love for fishing always brought the family together for one of the biggest fish fry that would bring the family together both near and far. Phillip will always be remembered by his jokes and dance moves we all know he was the life of the party.

Phillip is preceded in death by his mother and father Thelma and Phillip Chandler, his wife Debra Osa-Chandler. He leaves to cherish his memories 1 daughter Ebony Osa - Davis (Darrell Davis) and 3 sons Phillip Chandler Jr, Titus Chandler, and Taego Chandler . He also is survived by 3 grandchildren Katynce Moore, Malik Ali Jr., and Naimah Ali. 15 sisters, 6 brothers and a host of family and friends that loved him dearly.
