RAILROAD Philip S. Gover, Jr., 65, died Thursday, October 16, 2014, at his residence. He was the husband of Catherine L. (Roth) Gover. They were married 43 years. Philip was born on January 16, 1949, in Cockeysville, Md., a son of the late Philip S. Gover, Sr. and Hilda (Brown) Gover. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars, and going to car shows and to Ocean City, Md. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at the Freedom Center, 68 W. Main St., Windsor, with T. Jason Price, Sr. officiating. Please dress in casual clothing. In addition to his wife, Philip is survived by two sons, Philip S. Gover, III, and Timothy Gover, husband of Cindy; two daughters, Denise Gover, fiancee of Andrew Brown, and Cynthia Gover, companion of Shawn Heiland; four grandchildren, Shelden, Dalton, Tyler, and Jessica; a sister, Helen Brown; and a brother, Michael Gover. A brother, Donald Gover, is deceased. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 224 St. Charles Way, Suite 200, York, PA 17402. Arrangements entrusted to the John W.
