PORAYKO, Peter Peter Porayko, 90, has passed away on August 4, 2017 peacefully at his home with his wife at Devonshire Care Centre. Peter was born on August 31, 1926 in Egremont, Alberta.Peter Porayko moved to Edmonton at a young age and worked hard learning business. He met his wife Inez and they were married on October 28, 1950. He was a loving husband to Inez Porayko for 66 years. They worked together at their many Cowboy Boot stores over the years. Peter was an amazing oil painter and painted 100s of scenic paintings. They travelled the world together and were always together. He always enjoyed time with his many great/grandchildren.He is survived by his wife Inez; daughter, Darlene Doktor; son, Dale "Lee" Porayko; seven grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.A celebration of his life will be held at Hainstock's Funeral Home in Edmonton at 9810-34th Ave, on August 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.Memorial donations/in lieu of flowers may be made to Make A Wish Foundation in Peter's name at 16007-118th Ave, Edmonton, AB T5V 1C7.Expressions of sympathy can be forwarded to the family via the website, www.hainstockedmonton.com
