Percy Lee MackMemphis, TNPercy Lee Mack, 62, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1954 in Memphis, Tn to his parents Henry Jefferson and Lucille Mack Sr. Percy attended Memphis City Schools and graduated from Lafayette High School in Oxford as one of the school leading basketball players. Percy joined the United States Army and served honorably. Percy attended and was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Q. C. Billops. He worked for the City of Memphis and later joined the Defense Depot in Memphis. He retired from the Defense Logistic Agency in Norfolk, Va after 30 years of service. Percy is preceded in death by his father and his sister, Rosie (babysis) Herron, brothers, Charlie Mack and Richard Lee Mack. His loving survivors include his mother, children, Percy Mack Jr,(Laci), Charnique Rucker, (Duenos), Marquinton Byers, Corry Williams (Sonya), sisters, Lucille Mack Catron (Randle) Mary Cobb (Jerry) of Memphis, TN and Bettye Dukes (Earl) of Oxford, Ms.and our sister in Christ, caregiver Phyllis Taylor (Troy) and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Percy Love and Passion of life…cooking, BBQ champ for the Defense Depot and the endless preaching of education and discipline, love, support and the constant supply of goodies that the many nieces, nephews and relatives received and enjoyed until his illness. Celebration of Life Services 11 a.m. today, April 13 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 918 Looney. Interment, West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Pastor O. C. Collins, officiating.
