Peggy Louise "Adams" Simpson was born in Hood River, Oregon to George and Jean Adams on June 29,1947. Peggy grew up in Hood River where she attended Elementary, Junior High and High School. She met the love of her life, Stanley Simpson in 1978 and they were later married in 1979. They remained happily married for 41 years. Peggy was devoted to her lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Peggy also served 20 years in the U.S. Navy and retired in 2007 as a Senior Chief. She continued service to her country as a D.O.D. Contractor until the time of her passing. She touched the lives of so many people throughout her life and career. She always had an amazing energy that seemed to infect all that interacted with her, be it with her amazing singing voice, her piano and guitar playing, her dedication to her work and her general attitude towards life. Peggy had the energy of a woman half her age. She was a blessing to her family and to all that knew her. Peggy will forever live in our hearts until we meet her again in heaven.
