"Polly" McDonald, 88, of Yates City passed away at 3:36 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria, surrounded by her loving family.She was born on March 22, 1928, in Hanna City, a daughter of Harry and Cora Clark Hudson. She married Dean I. McDonald on April 20, 1946, in Hanna City. He preceded her in death.Also preceding her in death were her parents.Surviving are her daughter, Pamela (Richard) Ehens of Yates City; two grandchildren, Douglas (Cyndi) Ehens of Crown Point, Indiana, and Matthew (Kathy Bukowy) Ehens of Bensenville, Illinois; one great-grandchild, Ryan Ehens of Crown Point, Indiana; one sister, Evelyn Norbom of Washington; and three nephews.Polly was a homemaker and attended Faith United Presbyterian Church in Yates City for many years.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, where visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016. The Rev. Marla B. Bauler will officiate.
