Pauline M. Fahrenbruch of East Tawas, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home under the loving care of her family on Monday, June 9, 2014. Pauline was born on April 3, 1925 in Pontiac to V. Ross and Marie (Grapes) Davis. She resided in the Pontiac area for many years until she married her husband, Charles Fahrenbruch. Pauline attended classes for several years at the Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pontiac in her youth and recently a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Tawas City. She was also a very active artist and member of the Tawas Bay Art Gallery. Pauline is survived by her husband, Charles W. Fahrenbruch of East Tawas; one daughter, Carolyn Jacobson of Sarasota, Fla.; one brother, Kenneth (Martha) Davis of Waterford; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elaine and Jerry Wilcox of Homosassa Springs, Fla.; two nieces, Deborah Davis and Eva Marie Rotach; and many dear friends. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, V. Ross Davis and Eva Marie Davis; and one sister, Betty Jane Davis Norris. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 12 at 2 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City with Pastor Steven Mahlburg officiating. Her family will welcome friends at the funeral home for visitation on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Interment will take place immediately following the funeral in Sims-Whitney Cemetery.
