Lageson, Pauline JohnsonPauline Johnson Lageson, 91, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Tues. May 16, 2017 at Woodside Lutheran Home surrounded by her family. Pauline was born on March 5, 1926 in Albert Lea, MN to Luther and Selma (Gunderson) Johnson. On November 25, 1948, Pauline was united in marriage with Odonn (Swede) L. Lageson in Geneva, MN, and he preceded Pauline in death on October 16th, 2005. Pauline worked in the banking business for most of her life. Pauline was the last charter member of Ascension Lutheran Church, serving as the organist for many years. She served on several committees as well was an active member of the Knitting Ministry until the dementia took away her ability to knit. She loved vacationing in Door County for many years with her family, as well as taking a trip to Myanmar (formally Burma) with Dad as he wanted to show her where he stationed in WWII. She also had a love for sewing, needlework, crossword puzzles & playing the organ.Pauline is survived by her two daughters, Marsha (Mark) Nelson, and Laura (Thomas) Erdmann, both of Green Bay; five grandchildren, Jason Gellin, David Gellin, James Nelson, all of Green Bay, and Jennifer (Ryan) McAdams, Forest Park, IL, one step-grandchild, Mark Nelson II, Fond du Lac, WI; and nine great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Betty Lou Corey, Minneapolis, MN; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn (Roger) Nelson; one brother and sister-in-law Philip (Ardythe) Johnson; and brother-in-law, Bruce Corey.Visitation at Ascension Lutheran Church, 2911 Libal St., Tuesday, May 23rd, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial service 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Pastors Lori and Luther Swenson officiating. A luncheon will be served following the service.
