Pauline H. Webber of East Tawas, formerly of Flint, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014 at Tawas Village Assisted Living, age 95 years. Pauline was born on Dec. 13, 1918 in Dexter, Mo. to Marion and Myrtle (Mossman) Gaines. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Francis E. Hurley, Russell Korff and Joseph Webber; two great grandchildren and one son-in-law. Pauline is survived by her five loving children, Sandra (Ron) Howe of National City, Judy (Russ) Burkett of Baldwin, Fran Anderson of Flushing, Paula "Jeannie" (James) Berney of Oscoda and Paul "Jim" (Renee) Hurley of Fenton; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Revelee Lakies. Pauline was a longtime member of Tawas Area Presbyterian Church and a very avid Detroit Tigers fan. She will forever missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City with Dr. Reverend Earl B. Stewart officiating. Her family will welcome friends for visitation on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Interment with committal prayers will be on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 1 p.m. at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint.
