COLUMBUS GROVE — Paul V. Vaughn, II, age 46, died at 10:15 pm, on Monday, November 7, 2016, at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, Ohio.
He was born on August 3, 1970, in Lima, Ohio, to Paul V. and Ethel J. (Rogers) Vaughn. They both survive in Columbus Grove.
He was married to Joan Ellerbrock, she survives in San Antonio, TX.
Paul is survived by one brother: Randy Merritt; three sisters: Melissa Renee Lehmen, Sybil Marie Peck and Samantha Shirley Ann Vaughn; 21 nieces and nephews; and 10 great nieces and nephews, all of which Paul shared many years of guidance and strength.
A graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1989, after which he attended and graduated from Culinary Institute of Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and had been a member of the men's Auxiliary of the VFW, Post 9648, both of Columbus Grove. Paul had worked at Disney Land, Orlando, Florida, as a pastry chef.
He was an avid OSU football and Cincinnati Bengals fan. He became an ordained Pentecostal Minister, working in various Toledo Nursing Homes, ministering to the residents. He loved to play monopoly and actually collected Monopoly games from all over the world.
Services will begin at 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Rich Rakay will officiate, with burial in Rockport Cemetery, at a later date.
