Paul John Loeckner died on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, while doing what he loved, hunting.Paul was born on April 16, 1952, in Wyandotte. He is the son of the late Charles and Eleanor Loeckner. Paul is survived by his daughter, Heather Marie, and stepdaughter, Lisa; his ex-wife, Rae, and he was the beloved grandfather to Benjamin, Nathan, Ellis and Ava; and brother to Charles, Joy, Michael, Onalee and Patrick. He truly loved his family and the beauty of the outdoors. Visitation for Paul was held on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Buresh and Kobs Funeral Home in Tawas City. His funeral Mass was held on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Tawas with the Rev. Fr. Lawrence Boks officiating. Per his wishes, cremation followed and interment of cremated remains was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in East Tawas. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed to the family to be used toward a college scholarship fund for Paul's grandchildren.
