ELENIAK, Paul J.It is with great sadness and fond remembrance that on August 16, 2017, Paul J. Eleniak of Edmonton passed away at the age of 85 years. Paul was born on November 14, 1931 in Chipman, AB, to John W. and Anna Eleniak. Paul was a friend to all, with a special fondness for all of his many nieces, nephews and family. He will be sadly missed by all of his many friends and relatives. Paul is survived by his brothers and sisters, Pauline Prybysh, Steve (Anne), Stanley (Irene), Adeline (Allan) Koshka and Lawrence (Betty); and sister-in-law, Pauline. Paul was predeceased by his parents, John W. and Anna; sister, Irene Snatynchuk; brothers, Peter and Walter; sister-in-law, Emelia; and brothers-in-law, Isaac Prybysh and Daniel Snatynchuk.A special thank you to the staff of the University of Alberta Hospital especially Unit 4G and 5G for their care and compassion.Relatives and friends may pay their respects Monday, August 21 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.Divine Liturgy Tuesday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Chipman, AB.
