PLEASANT LAKE — Patsy (Jolly) Smith, age 54, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Patsy was born on January 13, 1960 in Angola, the daughter of Theresia (Curtis) Ferrier, and she survives in Angola, Indiana. Patsy married Daniel Smith, and he survives in Pleasant Lake, Indiana. She was a lifelong student. She accomplished three degrees in business. An Associate in Business from Sierra College, a Bachelors in Business from Tri-State University, and a Masters in Business from Indiana Wesleyan College. She was previously employed at Trin, RP Technologies, and NEC. Patsy loved traveling, and living in the states of California and Florida, but always called the Chicago area her home. She also loved spending time outside. She enjoyed gardening and camping with her grandchildren. Survivors include, her husband, Daniel Smith of Pleasant Lake, Indiana; two sons, Dylan Jolly of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and Jeremiah (Veronica) Jolly of Fremont, Indiana; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Calianna Jolly, a sister, Mary Ferrier of Angola, Indiana; two brothers, Jimmy (Elenor) Ferrier of Angola, Indiana, and John (Pamela) Ferrier of Hicksville, Ohio; and her mother, Theresia Ferrier of Angola, Indiana. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Files. According to her wishes cremation will take place. Calling hours will be from 1 pm until 3 pm Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Memorials are to the donor's choice.
