Patsy Ray Elliott, 62, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born on September 8, 1954 in Pontotoc County to Bradford and Rozell Galloway Elliott. She had lived most all of her life in Amory, but had resided in Nettleton for the past twenty years. She was a file clerk in the grocery store business, a 1973 graduate of Hatley High School, and a member of Genesis Church in the Auburn Community. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.Services will be at 2p.m. Friday at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral in Nettleton with the Rev. Mike Allen and the Rev. Sammy Raper officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park in Verona.Survivors include two daughters, Trish Jones (Billy) of Nettleton and Dawn Wise of Amory; one son, Scott Elliott (Heather) of Eggville; three sisters, Clyde Starling (Mac) of Bonham, TX, Nettie Frederick (Gerry) of Pontotoc, and Ester Potts of Dennis; two brothers, Leonard Elloitt (Joyce) of Nettleton and Clarence Elliott (Johnnie) of Houlka; eight grandchildren, Zack, Collin, Shelby, Reese, Melanie, Aaron, Kim, Cade; two great grandchildren, Makayla and AnneA; two special cousins, Deborah Payne and Donna Elliott, both of Shannon; two special friends, Tina Lejeune and Elsie Pettigo.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Elliott; a son-in-law, Jamie Merchant.Pallbearers will be David Pugh, Carl Brown, Danny Samples, David Holcomb, Adam Fowler, Don Criswell, & her Kroger co-workers.Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8p.m. and Friday from Noon until time for services, all at the funeral home.An online guest registry and condolences may be accessed at
