PATSY CALLAHAN
GRANITE CITY — Patsy Jane Callahan, 83, of Granite City, died on Friday, February 3, 2017, at her home after a lengthy illness.
She was born on July 27, 1933, in Flat River, Missouri, of the late George and Jennie nee, Eads, Hart.
Patsy retired from St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Granite City after 27 years of service as a cancer registrar. She was a member of Word of Life Tabernacle in Granite City. Patsy enjoyed reading and crocheting.
She is survived by four daughters: Audrey (Joseph) Kellerman of Addieville, Illinois, Sharon Morgan of Granite City, Carol (Doug) Light of Goodland, Indiana, and Cynthia Callahan-Dobrynski of Granite City, Illinois, and a son, Randall (Linda) Morgan of Benld, Illinois. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Ericka Guithues, James Guithues, Chris Morgan, Jaime Saputo, Amy Hart, Stephanie Willett, Joseph Willett and Dakota Tucker, 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, David Hart of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and a sister, Doris Radford of Farmington, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Ritter.
The family would like to express special thanks to Southern Illinois Hospice, Gateway Home Health, Dr. Perez and Dr. Blankenship.
Visitation will be from 4 until time of service at 6 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Wojstrom Funeral Home in Granite City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Illinois Hospice.
