Patrick Ward, age 36, passed away unexpectedly of a short illness on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Patrick was born on January 12, 1984 to Thomas Ward and Dominique Smith in Pittsburgh, PA. Pat spent his early childhood years in Pittsburgh and then moved to Erie, PA where he graduated from East High School. Pat was a loving father of 3 boys and a loving son and brother. Pat loved playing and watching football with his sons. Patrick is survived by his 3 sons, Patrick Jr., Thomas, and Jordan of Erie PA. Fiancé, Julia Daluka. Also survived by his parents, Thomas Ward (father) of Ohio and Dominique Smith (mother) of Pittsburgh, PA. Also survived by his sister from fathers' side, Alexandra and brother, Kevin and little sister Kayla Smith from mother's side along with 2 older brothers from mothers' side, James and Rich. Along with one niece, Abrianna. He is preceded in death by all of his grandparents. No funeral arrangements possible until further notice, we will notify of church memorial service when the church may reopen.
