Patrick (Pat) D. Mescall72, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 9, 2017. Pat was born on June 28, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Matthew and Francis (Slaymon) Mescall.Pat graduated from Scecina Memorial High School.  He was appointed to the Indianapolis Fire Department on August 10, 1966 and retired from the department on December 5, 2006. During his career as a firefighter, Pat was assigned to various stations and developed lifelong friendships with everyone he served alongside of. Pat became known for his reliability throughout his service, and was also known for mischievous grin and contagious laugh.
