Wyoming – Patricia "Patti" Lewis, 68, of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Patti was born on April 25, 1948 in Beckley, WV. She was the daughter of the late Bernstein Neville Cooper and Opal Eloise Davis Cooper.

Patti was a 1966 graduate of Pineville High School and a 1969 graduate of Beckley College. She married Clinton Pannell Lewis on July 12, 1969. Patti devoted every aspect of her life to her family. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, traveling, fishing and was the proud Mam to her grandchildren, Patrick and Victoria. She loved, encouraged and supported Patrick and Victoria in every aspect of their lives.

Patti was a charter member of the Pineville Lioness Club, an active member of the Pineville Lions Club, where she was currently serving and had served for many years as the club secretary. She was the recipient of the Leonard Jarrett and Melvin Jones Awards through the Lions Club. Patti was the charter advisor of the Wyoming East High School Leo Club, a former leader of the Pineville Brownie Troop, a former member of the Wyoming Homemakers Club and Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Eloise Davis Cooper on May 12, 1996 and her father, Bernstein Neville Cooper on August 24, 2004, and an infant sister, Carletta Joy Cooper on January 10, 1943.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Clinton Pannell Lewis of Wyoming, WV; daughters Traci Rae Lewis-Smith and her husband, David of Beckley, WV and Gretchen Marjorie-Eloise Lewis of Roanoke, VA; grandson Patrick Pannell Lewis Smith and granddaughter Victoria Rae Lewis Smith; sister Carolyn Joyce Worrell and husband Dennis of Oceana, WV; brothers Mitchell David Cooper and wife Linda of Sophia, WV; Randall Boyd Cooper and wife Martha of Bluefield, VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Calfee Funeral Home in Pineville, WV on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Silas Mullins, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel of Hope in Beckley, WV. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Calfee Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Smith, David Smith, Mitchell Cooper, Randall Cooper, Daniel Williams, Daniel Dobbs, Tommy Lattie and William Vest.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pineville Lions Club at PO Box 990 Pineville, WV 24874. The family also requests that any eligible person donate blood, plasma and platelets through the American Red Cross.
