Patricia (Pat) Lee Cooper was born on July 23, 1943, in Tampa, FL to parents Leon and Mary Lou Cato.
She graduated Hillsborough High School in 1961. She is a Florida native that has spent almost 40 years in Jacksonville, FL. She was the hardware manager at Pick N Save on Blanding Blvd for 10 yrs before they closed, then spent over 20 years at Dollar General.
Pat was a devoted loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was very proud of her family and loved being a Nana, Grandma, and Mimi. Pat enjoyed having family visit her and looking at FaceBook to see all the pictures continuously posted by her grandchildren.
Pat also loved going on yearly camping trips with family (Buddy Cambell), having weekly thrift shopping dates with friends, and watching the Jacksonville Jaguars play.
Pat quietly celebrated her 76th birthday at home filled with lots of phone calls from family and friends before passing peacefully in her sleep.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, younger sister Betty Cambell, and late (husband) Norm Abrahms. Survived by her sister: Marjorie Baker. Children: Steven D. Cooper, Michael (Sherry) Cooper, & Dawn Darnell. Her grandchildren: Steven M. Cooper, Krysti (Joe) Dixon, BreAnna (Deonte) Lewis, Colton Cooper, Deanna Cooper, Megan Cooper. And great-grandchildren: Jordan Lewis, Payton Lewis, Weston Lewis, Ayla Dixon, Emmett Dixon, and Evie Dixon. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
