Werner, Patricia L.Patricia L. Werner, 88, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at St. Francis Home.She was born on March 17, 1929, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Andrew and Edna Knoll Hoffmann. Patricia was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy, Class of 1947.On December 15, 1947, she married Marvin L. Werner. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2011.Patricia worked as a telephone operator. She enjoyed traveling, touring Europe and the United States, crocheting, knitting, and reading. She wrote poetry and a book, "How Many Angels in the Sky". She was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Holy Family Parish.She is survived by two sons: Mark (JeanMarie) Werner of Fond du Lac and Clark (Nancy) Werner of North Fond du Lac; two grandsons: Anthony (Brooke) Werner of Denver, Colorado and Justin (Vickie) Werner of Fond du Lac; two granddaughters: Erin (Tyler) Knipple of Fond du Lac and Christine (Clay) Pufahl Werner of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; great-grandchildren: Henry and Simon and Arlo and Ida; a stepgrandson, Camden; two brothers-in-law: Alan "Tip" Werner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Arvid "Weetie" Werner of North Fond du Lac; and a sister-in-law, Arlene "Mickey" Boda of Oshkosh.She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Hertha Hoffmann; her husband, Marvin; and a sister, Mardell Hoffmann.VISITATION: The visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at St. Francis Home chapel, 33 Everett Street, Fond du Lac.SERVICE: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at St. Francis Home chapel with Fr.
