Chelednik, PatriciaPatricia Chelednik of Danbury, CT passed away Friday October 28, 2016. She was predeceased by the love of her life, the late James R. Chelednik, who passed away in October of 2015.Pat was born on October 17, 1940 and is survived by her loving children Scott and his wife Kristen Boncaro, Steven Boncaro, Jim Chelednik, Michele Appleby, Tom and his wife Tammi Chelednik. Her beloved grandchildren: Jonathon, Benjamin, & Kaitlyn Boncaro, Deniz and Dylan Appleby, and Trevor and Skylar Chelednik.Pat worked as a waitress for over 40 years while most of her time was spent at the Hearth Restaurant in Brookfield, CT. Pat loved her job and took great pride in making her customers dining experience a good one. Pat spent most of her free time making sure her family was happy and taken care of. Her family was her world and we all knew it. Pat loved being at the beach with her kids and friends. She spent many Mondays at Compo Beach in Westport and would vacation with her family at places like the Jersey Shore and Cape Cod. Pat also loved Music, Bingo, and Sports – especially when her kids were young and playing. She was the one on the sideline screaming and following the team up and down the field. Pat will be remembered as a sweet woman, strong like no other, kind to all, and a great Mom. Besides her husband,Pat is predeceased by her son-in-law, Deniz Appleby, and brother, Larry.She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.Friends will be received from 5pm - 7:30pm on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
