Leeper Tooley, 90 of Caldwell, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at a local care center of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5th Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. A viewing will be held Monday evening, May 4th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Dakan Chapel. Condolences may be shared at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com.Opal was born on September 10, 1924 in Leon, Iowa to Arthur and Thelma Lucille Payne Leeper. Opal was a hard working woman in her younger days. She waitressed in Caldwell café's and made her customers her friends. She enjoyed people and was loved by everyone who knew her. Opal loved doing jigsaw puzzles, embroidering on pillowcases and collecting pretty little knickknacks.She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Aleman and Sandra Garza; son, Dale Grove; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, and also great great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ivan Leeper; and 3 children, Ivan Imrie, Priscilla Couch and Dennis Scranlin.
