Morales, Opal Irene 92, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on April 12, 2017. Opal was born on June 29th 1924 in Bristow Oklahoma to the parents of Percy Wiley Scott and Opal Irene Fisher. Opal started working at a very young age to help support and provide for her family which she still continues to do in spirit to this day. Opal left home at a young age and traveled throughout California making a living on being a bartender. Opal met and married 4 great loves in her life. Opal settled in Arizana where she married her best friend of 61 years James W Morales. She was not only a proud mother of 7 wonderful children; Percy D Choate, Clinton D Brimmer, Richard A Brimmer, George D Brimmer, James E Morales, Harold J Morales and Steven V Morales; but to all of their friends as well. Opal was a very spiritual woman who wore the holy spirit with grace and conviction for her creator. Opal is survived by her sons; Percy and Harold and her grandchildren; Dean, Clinton, Alicia, Sandy, Danny, Jimmy, Alisha, Chance and 13 great grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday April 23rd, 2017 at 11am at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery located at 719 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009.
