Olivia G. Arviso, 61, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Yuma Regional Medical Center. Olivia was born on November 1, 1947, in Yuma. Olivia was a graduate of Yuma High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Olivia is survived by her husband, Billy S. Arviso, Sr.; son, Billy S. Arviso, Jr. and Manuel "Ted" Arviso both of Yuma; daughter, Rebecca J. Arviso of Yuma; mother, Margaret Q. Garcia; brother, Trini Vasquez; 8 granddaughters and 3 grandsons; three great-grandchildren. She will be missed by the numerous family members she left behind, and her two best friends; Linda Quijada and Mary Garcia. Olivia was welcomed with open arms by the Lord and her father, Gabriel A. Garcia. A visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Rosary will follow at 7 p.m. A Mass will take place at Immaculate Conception Church on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 9 a.m. A burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Officiating will be Father Richard Kusugh of Immaculate Conception Church. Pallbearers will be Jesus "Chuy" Ellin, Jeffrey M. Ellin, Johnny F. Arviso, Mario Torres, Peter Montano, Martin Gaverra. Honorary pallbearers will be Reuben Concholla and P.C. Arviso.
