Odunayo, 76, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Friday, February 28th, 2020 with his two adult children by his side. Odunayo, or OD as his family knew him, was born on May 20th, 1943 to Mr. and Mrs. Obinna Soloye of Arlington, Texas. Upon entering the service in 1961, Odunayo and his two brothers served with honor during WWII. He received the Bronze Star for “bravery exhibited under the tremendous amount of fire directed upon him” during one patrol operation with his unit, the Black Panther Division in the French Atlantic port cities of Lorient and St. Nazaire. Between 1964 and 1978, OD and Ifeoma had their two children: Adetutu and Olajide. Odunayo was a loving father, and grandfather; he was multi-talented, a patent-holding inventor, and could build, fix, repair, or invent anything. He is survived by his two children and 7 grandchildren.
