Griffin, Odell TSept 18, 1928 - Jan 30, 2017Odell T. Griffin, age 88, passed away on January 30, 2017. He was born on Sept. 18, 1928 in Alapaha, GA to Aaron and Lalah Bell Griffin. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked at Tropicana and retired in 1990 after 26 years of employment. Being a farmer for many years, he loved gardening and growing orchids. Odell crocheted 100s of lap blankets for Meals on Wheels and veterans for more than 18 years. Odell is predeceased by his parents, brother; Virgil Griffin and his wife Juanita Griffin. He is survived by his children; Thomas A. Griffin, Frank (Joyce) Griffin, Susan (Don) Huggins, Gene (Lisa) Griffin and Merle (Tom) Honsa; Ten grandchildren, Priscilla Griffin, Jennifer (Lee) Bissette, Jessica (Mike) McIntyre, Clint (Tatiana) Griffin, Aaron Honsa, Thomas Griffin Jr, Maurice Griffin, Richard Griffin, David Griffin, and William Griffin. Eleven Great grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren and longtime companion Ruth Duncan.
