Ocktavia "Nae" Hamber, 36, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed Friday, February 01, 2019. Ocktavia was born to Charles E. Hamber, and Doris Brown, April 23, 1982 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was the second oldest of 9 siblings.

Ocktavia graduated from Sumner High school in 1999 where she was an astonding Track and Field athlete. Nae received a Track and Field scholarship to Tulane University where she earned a degree in Sports Science. She married Danny Brooks in 2011, and they lived together in Saint Louis. Ocktavia worked at ABF Freight as a truck driver for 5 years.
