Obong Godwin Okon Ufia Akpan Ekanem, 68, of Little Rock, Ark., was born January 01, 1951, to the late Elder, Obong (Dr) Ufia Akpan Ekanem in the county of Nigeria, in the city of Uyo, State, Akwa Ibom,in the village of Effiat Offot in Four Towns, he departed this life April 24, 2019. He is preceded in death by his father,his brother and his son Kingsley Godwin Okon Ekanem.He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Akon Ufia Akpan Ekanem, his wife Debbie L. Ekanem and three sons Prince Ekanem Godwin Ekanem, Supreme Ibanga Godwin Ekanem, and one daughter-in-law, DonErica Ekanem. He also had three grandchildren, Uddi O.Ekanem, Mya L. Ekanem and Javarre Ekanem. Obong Okon Godwin Ufia Akpan Ekanem was the first born son of 24 children. He received his under graduate degree from The University of Lagos and his Master degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Obong Okon Godwin Ufia Akpan Ekanem was a dedicated member of the Association of Nigerians where he served as President for six years. He was a strong family man and a trustworthy friend who truly be missed. Family and friends viewing will begin at 8a.m. April 26, 2019.
