NSET ~ Funeral services will be held April 17 , 2019 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church for Angela "Big Mom" Gotche, age 25 the former Angela Minix, who passed away  at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette March 3 2019 

Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau. Readers will be Ashley Colomb and Fantazia Minix. Giftbearers will be Amya, Jayda and Chloe.

Mrs. Gotche was a native and lifelong resident of Sunset. She was a parishioner of Christ the King. Angela enjoyed playing Bingo and was one of the best basketball players in school. She loved being with her family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of twenty four years, Donald Gotche, Sr., of Sunset; one son, Donald Gotche, Jr. of Sunset; one daughter, Camealita Levine and her husband, Kevin, of Abbeville; three Godchildren, April Colomb, Merica Brooks and Ronald Gotche, Jr.; her Godmother, Melva Rose Angelle of Lafayette; two brothers, Darrell Minix and his wife, Rose, and David Minix and his wife, Estelle, all of Opelousas; and three sisters, Cheryl A. Lewis of Lafayette, Patricia A. Alfred and her husband, Hilton, of Ville Platte and Sandy Colomb and her husband, Allen, of Carencro.
