Norma Rosen RanstromNovember 4, 1938 - March 17, 2013Norma Rosen Ranstrom, 74, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully following an illness at a local hospital with family surrounding her on Sunday, March 17, 2013. As per Norma's wishes, anatomical donation has been made to ISU to help further enhance education and research for the medical professions. A celebration of life will be held this summer with the date to be determined. Norma was born on November 4, 1938 in Paris, Idaho to Victor and Maud (Lyons) Rosen. She graduated from Pocatello High School May 24 1957. Norma married Terry Lee Ranstrom on July 26, 1958 in Pocatello. To this union was born four children, Trena, Jeanette, Lorraine, and Dana. Norma loved life, and she especially loved to laugh. She shared a laugh with everyone she met. She enjoyed bingo with her sisters and friends. Norma loved all animals, but especially dogs. She always had a small friend in her home. She was a member of the LDS church. Norma was preceded in death by her mother and father, Maude and Victor Rosen, two sisters, Kathryn Frasure and Fay Frasure, and her husband, Terry. She is survived by her children, Trena Diane (John) Ringling, Jeanette (Michael) Gregory, Lorraine Liles, and Dana Ranstrom, all of Boise, Idaho; as well as six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Norma will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. God Bless you Uncle Martin, Uncle Burt and your family for your love and care you gave mom.
