Norma R. DreyDes MoinesNorma R. Drey, 87, died on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at University Park Nursing Center in Des Moines, Iowa. A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Urbandale.Norma was born on March 7, 1930 in Eagle Grove, IA to Clifton and Grace Roseland. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Des Moines where she then spent the rest of her adult life. She worked for the Telephone Company following high school, then married Jack Drey and raised three daughters.Norma was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Tri-T National Women's Organization, and volunteered for community organizations in her spare time. She loved swimming, and especially having her own backyard pool later in life.Norma is survived and lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Susan Drey of Rapid City, SD, Patty Drey (Joseph) of Albequerque, NM, and Kimberly (Greg) Zwanziger of Savage, MN; grandchildren, John (Katie) Zwanziger, Jessica Zwanziger, and Samantha Drey Boyd; sister Arloine Bullington of Hastings, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marjorie.
