Norma Jean Beagle, 89GREENSBURG - Norma Jean Beagle, 89, formerly of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.Norma was born on February 15, 1927 in Greensburg, the daughter of Jasper and Merle (Purdy) Bennett. Norma married Walker P. Beagle on February 27, 1954 at the Greensburg United Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1987.Norma was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church where she was a member of Martha's Circle; she was a member of the Friends of the Library and Psi Iota Xi. She enjoyed reading, playing Bridge, traveling and spending her winters in Florida. Survivors include two sons, Michael (Sue) Davis of Muncie and Dr. Jay (Patti) Beagle of Indianapolis; her sister, Betty (Jack) Kixmiller of Greensburg; three grandchildren, Kyle, Caroline and Jenna Beagle; and her nephew, Jo Johnston.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her daughter Patti Jean Davis. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home.Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
