NORTH LOGAN - Noriko Yamane Murphy, 59, died on April 23, 2010, at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She was born on Oct. 4, 1950, in Ashikaga, Japan, the daughter of Takeshi Yamane and Tsuyako Yamane (Watanabe). Noriko was married in 1973 to Verl A. Murphy Jr. and they later divorced.She is survived by three children: Maki Murphy of North Logan; Katie (Jake) Ross of Centennnial, Colo.; Jessica Munk of Logan; four grandchildren, Erika Munk, Kalvin Munk, Eleanor Ross and Judd Ross; mother; brother, Seichi Yamane; and sister, Sumie Ueno, all of Saitama, Japan.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in the North Logan 7th Ward Chapel, 1850 N. 400 East. There will be a viewing at the Allen Mortuary of North Logan on Tuesday from6 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.Interment will be in the North Logan Memorial Park and Cemetery.Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.allenmortuaries.net.
