Noemi E. RamirezSan AngeloNoemi E. Ramirez, 83, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 11, 1933 to Jose and Patrocinio (Alonzo) Esquivel in Del Rio, Texas. Noemi worked as a quality control inspector for R. G. Barry for 34 years. She was a member of Word of Life Assembly of God church.She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jose Esquivel Jr., Refugia Talamantes, Felicita A. Rabago, Felix Esquivel Sr., Fernando Esquivel and Alejandra "Dina" Charles. Survivors include daughters, Ruth Ann (Mario) Perez of Weslaco and Patsy (J R) Rodriguez of Houston; sons, Ruben (Vanessa) Ramirez of San Angelo and Mike (Lori) Ramirez of Weslaco; grandchildren, Clint James Perez, Sara Ann Neie, Jon Marc Rafael Perez, Katie Ann Perez, Eleazar Rodriguez III, Joseph Ryan Rodriguez, Lauryn Ramirez, Marissa Valdez, Miranda Ramirez, Alyssa Ramirez, Brandon Ramirez, Emily Joy Ramirez and Caleb Ramirez; great-grandchildren, Hayden Neie and Addilyn Valdez. Viewing will be 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 12 noon on Monday, Oct. 31, at the Word of Life Assembly of God church. Burial will take place in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. The family wants to give a special thank you to Gretel and the staff at Kindred hospice.
