This obituary is administered by:
Dadas-Salfai, NicoleNicole M. Dadas-Salfai, 53, De Pere, beloved mother, sister and wife, passed away unexpectedly on February 23rd, 2017. Nicole was born on April 20th, 1963 in Oshkosh, WI to the late James and Dorothy "Red" (Umphenour) Geffers. As the youngest of six children, Nicole spent many of her adolescent years playing on Lake Butte des Morts and running around the town of Omro. She graduated from Omro High School in 1981 and shortly thereafter served in the United States Air Force for four years.Following her service, she traveled around the western United States. Nicole was an adventurous spirit in her youth, always raving about the mountains and how she liked to hike and ski. She talked often about wanting to return to Tucson, AZ one day. In the early 1990s, Nicole returned home to Wisconsin. In 1993 she welcomed her son Daniel into the world. Nicole was a proud, dedicated, and hard-working single mother. She did everything in her power to ensure Daniel was supported and well cared for. She loved him dearly. In 2002, Nicole M. (Geffers) Dadas met Tod J. Salfai. A close friend of Nicole's from high school set them up on a blind date. Tod brought a single, long-stemmed rose so Nicole would be able to easily identify him. In typical fashion, Nicole was thirty minutes late. The two hit it off and married on July 28th, 2007 in De Pere, WI with a simple yet elegant outdoor wedding. They recently celebrated fifteen years together at the same restaurant where they first met.Later in life, Nicole enjoyed gardening, spending time with her dogs Mozart and Tundra, attending the occasional garage sale, and watching the weekly Packer game during the season.Nicole M. Dadas-Salfai is survived by her husband Tod, her son Daniel Dadas, Los Angeles, and her two stepchildren Allison Salfai, Green Bay and Tyler Salfai, De Pere. Nicole is further survived by her siblings; Vicki (Lee) Harris, Waupaca, Peter (Susie) Geffers, Oshkosh, Jeff (Elodia) Geffers, Wautoma, and Julie (John) Berndt, Oshkosh; as well as her parents-in-law James Salfai, Marinette and Maxine Salfai, Appleton.Nicole was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Geffers, and sister Zana (Ed) Abbott.
