Nettie Ruth Cohen, 80, was born on Monday, June 1, 1936, to the late Eddie and Roberta Tobler. The late Nettie Ruth Cohen answered her master call on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Crestwood Nursing Home in Palatka, Florida. Nettie Cohen leave to cherish her fond memories her sons, Daniel (Elaine) Cohen, Lamar (Yvonne) Cohen, Jerome Cohen and Alphonso Sermon; daughters, Roberta (Quinton) Lindsey and Joyce Shoemaker; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. The Homegoing Celebration will take place 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Mt. Zion A.M.E, the Rev. Latoya Floyd, pastor. Viewing will take place 6-8:30 p.m. Friday at Coleman's Mortuary Chapel. Burial will take place in Pattersonville Cemetery, East Palatka.
