Naomi Jones, 98, passed Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Naomi was born to Burnie Jones, and Kit Jones, May 10, 1919.

Naomi graduated from Berry O' Kelly High School and worked at Watts Hospital. She also volunteered as a mentor of alcoholic men at the North Carolina state halfway house. She loved helping people in need and was a wonderful lady.

Naomi is survived by 3 children: Mary Jones, Anne Jones, and Alberta Jones Ferrell (Jim Ferrell). She also is survived by 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren: Larry Jones, Mary Jones, Christopher Jones (Kenya), Jennifer Roberts and Julie Tate.
