Naoma Wealthy (Morris) MillsSalisbury-Naoma Morris Mills, 96, of Salisbury, MD, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. She was born on July 11, 1920 in Mulberry Florida. She is the daughter of the late S. T. Morris and Thelma Walker Morris. She resided in Douglas, GA and was married to W. H. (Dub) Mills who preceded her in death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by her brother W. T. Morris. Mrs. Mills was a member of First Baptist Church in Douglas, GA. She has resided in Salisbury, MD for the pass 9 1/2 yrs., living with her son and daughter in law. During her residence in Maryland she attended Oakridge Baptist Church and also Cross Pointe Church in Salisbury. She was a Sunday school teacher in Georgia at the First Baptist Church for 54 years and a member of Woman's Missionary Union and Lottie Moon. She was a housewife who enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, and working in her flower garden and yard. Most of all she enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. One of her greatest enjoyments was her close friendship with her younger friends who watched over her when she resided in Douglas, GA, and these amazing people never forgot her even when she moved to Salisbury, MD.She is survived by her son, Kenneth Max Mills and his wife Myra Ann Mills, her daughter, Linda Faye (her husband Lee, deceased) Lofton, of Eden, NC. Her surviving grandchildren are Kim Mills, Mark Mills, Lisa and Lara Lofton; her great grandchildren are Dylan, Hannah, Jacoby, Aria, Casey, and Jake. And her great-great grandson Titus. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
