BUTLER — Nancy Caroline Moore, 76, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at DeKalb Health in Auburn, Ind. She was born on October 18, 1937, in Auburn, Ind., to the late Ralph and Belva (Chorpenning) Rugman. She married Carson Moore Sr. on October 15, 1955, and he preceded her in death on June 4, 1996. Surviving are a son, Carson Moore Jr. (Carol Hogge) of Newville, Ind.; five daughters, Judy (Vic) Lyon of Marion, Ohio, Diana (Joe) Newbauer of Bay City, Mich., Barbara (Terry) Coonrod of Auburn, Ind., Lisa (Ron) Belinsky of Grand Lodge, Mich., Dawn (Levi) Fredericks of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Ralph Rugman of Garrett, Ind., and Bruce (Becky) Rugman of Auburn, Ind.; three sisters Martha (Robert) Geyer of Spencerville, Ind., Sharron (Robert) Plummer of Auburn, Ind., and Dawn (Merlin) Bartels of Garrett, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and an abundance of friends, especially Ron Osbun. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, JoEllen; an infant son, Steven; and six brothers, Robert, Keith, Joseph and Steven Rugman and Edward and Charles Carnahan. She worked as a nurse's aide in the Hicksville and Butler nursing homes, was a factory worker at Crooks-Millers Handle Factory in Hicksville and also as a punch press and welder at Sheller Globe in Grabill. She loved camping, sewing and cooking. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Hicksville Eagles. Graveside services will be on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Auburn, Ind.
