Nancy L Otte70, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 21st, 1946 to the late Edward and Melba (Davidson) Little and married William J. Otte on June 24th, 1972. She was a graduate of Warren Central High School, Ball State University and Indiana University holding a bachelor's and master's degrees in Education. She worked for Carmel Clay Junior High School, volunteered with the Indiana Library Federation, and was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She was an amazing mother who put her family before all else and was adored as both a grandmother and a great-aunt.She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William J. Otte of Indianapolis, sons Kurt Otte and wife Elizabeth of Erie, CO, and Karl Otte and wife Caroline of Saline, MI, grandchildren, Jonathan, Eric, Maria, William, Lydia, Anna, and Jessica. She is also survived by her brother, Edward Little of Zionsville and will be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 15th at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest in Saint Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 14th in the evening from 6 to 9, with a prayer service at 8:30, in the gathering space of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 5692 Central Ave, Indianapolis, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for masses, Saint Vincent De Paul, or Little Sisters of the Poor.
