Nancy C. Gold, 50, a longtime resident of Las Vegas passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe surrounded by her loving family.She was born on Jan. 31, 1966 to Robert Gold and Priscilla Montoya Gold in Albuquerque.She loved her parents very much, enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Nancy loved the outdoors. She was known, to be a very caring, giving and a very happy person.A Catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.She was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Gold; brother, Robert Gold Jr.; maternal grandparents, Bernice Macias and husband, Joe; and paternal grandparents, Isaac and Sophia Gold.She is survived by her children, Jessica VanHorn and husband, Brandon, Carlos Urioste, all of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Jessie Ray, Jordan and Jeremiah; parents, Priscilla and Robert Gold of Las Vegas; brother, Anthony Gold of Las Vegas; sisters, Eileen Gold Tenorio and husband, Manuel, of Anton Chico, Anna Garcia and husband, John, of Las Vegas, Nev., Evelyn Leger and husband, Bobby, of Las Vegas, N.M.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.Rosary service will be held at 8 a.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas. Funeral mass will be held following the rosary also at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Las Vegas with the following serving as casket bearers, Nash Gold, Isaac Gold Jr., John Garcia, Bobby Leger, Manuel Tenorio and Joseph Leger.
