Kubacki-Fix, MurielMuriel Kubacki-Fix, age 93, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away on November 10, 2016, at the Waterford at Wis. Rapids in Wisconsin Rapids.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nekoosa. Father John Swing will be officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery.Muriel was born on November 2, 1923 in Junction City, WI to Frank and Catherine (Wayerski) Piekarski. She married Steve Kubacki Feb. 14, 1942. He passed away January 25, 1979. She married George Fix June 15, 1984 in Stevens Point. He passed away March 28, 1995.Muriel was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her many beautiful flower gardens. She is survived by her children Steve (Sandra) Kubacki of Pittsville, and Darlene (Hank) Kniprath of Nekoosa, four grandchildren; Lisa Kreie, Dan Kniprath, Lynda Meyer, Laura Kubacki, eight great-grandchildren; Haley, Bobbie, Brittney, Brian, Parker, Cassie, Lindsey, Leah, five great-great grandchildren, five stepsons; Gary, Don, Rick, Chris and Greg Fix, five stepdaughters; Sandy Winecki, Dianne Houlihan, Joanne Houlihan, Carol Chesbro and Marilyn Weir, two sisters; Carol Alft, Janice (Don) Ryman and one brother George (Shirley) Piekarski.
