Muriel Jane (Bowermaster) Billman79, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away March 2, 2017. Jane was born on November 30, 1937 to the late Dorothy and Herbert Bowermaster in Bowersville, OH. She graduated from the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, OH in 1958.As an RN, Jane served as part of the medical team that established the ICU in Cincinnati General Hospital and the Director of Nursing at Rush Memorial Hospital. She was a past State President of PEO, active member of All Saints Episcopal Church, and volunteer at Second Helpings. Jane loved parties, to cook, to entertain, and create new recipes.Jane married Dan Billman (who survives) in 1959. She is also survived by sons, Scot, JR, Tim (Karla), and Eric (Carrie) Billman. Her grandchildren Morgan Billman, Blaire (John) Speaker, Tyler Billman, Ean Billman, Elizabeth Billman, Abigail Billman, and Kaya Billman. Sisters Cathy Overley and Teda (Rick) Henline, Sister-in-law Dianne West, Daughter-in-Law, Tami (Alan) Baxter, Nieces Lora (Kevin) Knopf, Lisa (David) Coppock, and Nephew Brian West all survive, as well.Jane wrote, "While we are alive we need to do enough good deeds to last us through eternity." Therefore, in lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Second Helpings and All Saints Episcopal Church.A Memorial Gathering at Moster Mortuary (334 North Main Street, Rushville, IN) will take place, Monday, March 6, 2017, 4:00-7:00 p.m.A reception will be held Tuesday March 7, 2017, in the Parish Hall of All Saints Episcopal Church (1559 Central Avenue, Indianapolis, IN) at 5:30 p.m. A Service will follow at 7:00 p.m.Arrangements entrusted to Moster Mortuary.
