Moises Jaquez,70, went home to the Lord, Thursday, November 2nd, 2017, after a long battle with lung disease. He lost his wife and best friend a year ago to the date and now they are together in Heaven for eternity.
Moises was born and raised in Bakersfield, Ca where he met his wife, Rosa. They moved to Houston in 1992 where he started his life as a cross-country truck driver. Moises was known as an avid outdoorsman who loved being in the woods and on the water. He was a quiet believer in God, and spoke that "God doesn't hold lying against you as long as it is about huntin or fishin." He had a wonderful sense of humor to the very end.
He was a family man who raised 5 children and had 10 grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Isabel Sanchez; sons, Joe Jaquez, and Moises Jaquez Jr.; daughters, Mary Ramirez, and Virgina Jaquez.
A casual Celebration of Life for Moises will be held from 1 to 4 pm Sunday, November 12th at daughters Isabel Sanchez Ranch in Houston, Texas. Lunch will be served. Condolences may be sent to the Jaquez family.
