Monroe Banks, 70, of Chicago, Illinois, passed Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Monroe was born to Robert Charles Banks, and Ida Mae Banks, June 26, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois.
Monroe graduated from West Scott High School and worked at the City of Chicago Park District for 7years until he retired.
Monroe is survived by 3 children: Catherine Townsend, Tonya Banks Moore (Charles Curtis Moore), and Javan Clayton. He also is survived by 8 grandchildren.
